Love at first sight.. :-)

Eyes met her eyes
The language of silence began
Words wouldn’t have been enough
For what was conveyed through our eyes
So simple yet deep

We crossed each other
The excitement raised higher
Desperate efforts to follow each other
A new world developed around
For just the two of us

And now the glances
Turning again and again
Desperate efforts to maintain the eye contact
Thought of losing someone
Was just unbearable

She stood still
She had to take a turn
Wished the road never ended
Wished we followed the same path
Like our hearts

She turned back
Gave a broad smile
The one that I can never forget
Was it a good-bye?
Or a new beginning?

I was confused
Devastated too
Lost in the dilemma
Should I run back to her?
Or leave it to fate?

Then I realized
This is my fate
This is my only chance
Chance to find the ONE
Chance to make her mine

I ran towards her
Everyone was in awe
I just kept running
Was it the love at first sight?
Though I never believed in one

Eyes met her eyes, again
This time very closely
“Would you like to see me again?”
She smiled again
And said, “Sure..!” :-)
